Ancient Pompeii Street

I captured this image in Pompeii, Italy. This 2000 year old city was covered in ash by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. It was excavated in the early 1900's. You can still see the ruts in the stone streets caused by centuries of use by ancient wagons.
