Distant Bridge

This bridge in the distance looks like the Golden Gate Bridge, but it is in Lisbon Portugal. The king of Portugal visited San Francisco in the early 1900's and directed that this bridge in Portugal be built to match the style of the Golden Gate which he really liked. So this bridge is a 3/4 scale exact replica of the famous Golden Gate. I took this shot from an old fort built on the river in the 1700's to protect the city from pirates.
